NoGa held it's first Field Day in 6 years this year. The hosts were Rich, K7SZ and Pat, KB3MCT Arlan.
Rich and Pat had acquired a vacant lot next to them in a cul-de-sac that backed up to a large piece of undeveloped property. Lots of trees and shade.
Rich had cleared the overnight operation with the city of Dacula and had arranged for the local newspaper (The Dacula Patch) to come out and do an article on what we were doing. Pat put a sign out on the street and set up an information table with a visitor log and activity handouts.
We had 5 operators part time and made a little over 200 contacts with limited operating time. This was a learning and training year.
Operators were Mike-KO4WX, Pickett-AD4S, Bill-K6MYH, Rich-K7SZ and Dick-K2UFT.
Pat unexpectedly served pizza for the Saturday evening meal to all of our surprise.
A good time was had by all and we will do better next year.
If anyone has more pictures of this event please send them to me and I will update this album.
Thanks to Mike, KO4WX, Dick, K2UFT and Betsy Cummins for these pictures. If anyone has more that they would like to include in this album.. send them on to me...!
