The intrepid NoGa team of Jim, AD4J, and Pickett (John on CW), AD4S braved rain storms to operate QRPTTF/SOTA "Happy Trails" 2013. Operating was on private property adjoining the famous Gwinnett County "Harbins Wilderness" area. Remnants of the original trail still exist just before it disappears into the "Wilderness". The rain did not last and we were able to make 42 contacts with 22 SPC's. Jim was able to test a couple of new antennas that he brought. We had a great time and can't wait until the next QRP event. We closed up shop before dark so there would be no problem leaving the "Wilderness" Jim used his new KX3 and Pickett used his "ShackInABag"..! We used our own call signs but aggregated the club results for reporting purposes. Click on any of the small pictures below to see a slide show (manual).
