The December, 1998, meeting of the North Georgia QRP Club was dedicated to construction of a 1 watt 80 meter transmitter. The NOGA80 or Georgia Cracker, as it has been called by club members, helped start the weekly Tuesday night 80M net (at 9:30 Eastern time). Steve Hudson, AA4BW, led the meeting, providing kitted up parts and PC board stock for ugly construction.
