NOGA/Georgia Cracker 80M Transmitter

By Steve Hudson, AA4BW

The December, 1998, meeting of the North Georgia QRP Club was dedicated to construction of a 1 watt 80 meter transmitter. The NOGA80 or Georgia Cracker, as it has been called by club members, helped start the weekly Tuesday night 80M net (at 9:30 Eastern time).

Steve Hudson, AA4BW, led the meeting, providing kitted up parts and PC board stock for ugly construction. This section transcribes Steve's original descriptions and drawings, with light modifications for clarity.
